BIRMINGHAM, AL–(Marketwire – March 31, 2011) – Seale Solar in cooperation with Atlantic Windshield Repair has designed and built a new type of franchise facility that can be set-up practically anywhere. These new facilities use solar panels to provide power, and run a reverse osmosis system that takes rain water and converts it to potable water. Solar power is also used to run a composting toilet that processes human waste into a mulch material that can be used as a fertilizer. This unit is the first commercial facility in the U.S. to be given a license to use a composting toilet, as well as the first to use a rain water recovery system. This Micro-Franchise is only 17′ x 40′ but has the capability to be run just like any other business.
Utilizing typically unused property like shopping center outparcels, cost for development can be greatly reduced. Commercial developers see these new facilities as an additional revenue stream with little to no expense on their part. These new units are prefabricated so installation is quick and easy. A typical unit takes up no more than five parking spaces and since there are no utilities to hook to, they can be located almost anywhere.
These new micro facilities are set to revolutionize the franchise industry by providing an alternative to expensive single use site Franchises.
