Epic Barrier Systems provides Safety Solutions for Workers

Barrier system Epic Barrier Systems provides Safety Solutions for WorkersEdge Protection for Improving Compliance

Most commonly used in building construction and other elevated areas where workers are exposed to leading edges, the Miller EPIC Barrier Systems provide durable, reusable safety solutions for multiple workers. Engineered for quick and easy installation to reduce labor costs, the barriers are available in four (4) cost-effective safety systems.

Ultimate barrier design for maximum safety and debris containment

The Miller EPIC ULTRA Barrier System is the forerunner in edge protection and inspired the way temporary fall prevention is addressed within the construction industry. The steel mesh barrier design addresses a variety of end-user focused needs – durable, strong, adjustable and lightweight.

The Miller EPIC ULTRA Barrier System combines the guardrails, toeboard and steel mesh barrier into one product. It is suitable for protecting workers at the edge of horizontal or low-sloping surfaces for a wide range of applications. The lightweight, impact-absorbing steel mesh barrier is strong and durable and is designed with closed-return for greater debris containment.

This system uses precast sockets, clamps or anchored components for base attachments and posts for upright supports.

Post and steel mesh barrier integrated into a single component

The Miller EPIC Post-N-Barrier System is engineered with a post and steel mesh barrier integrated into a single component making it easy to use and quick to install. Designed to protect those working at the edge of horizontal or low-sloping surfaces, the large steel mesh grid provides the required level of containment, while allowing workers to easily reach through the grid without removing the barrier.

Utilizing an overlap installation design, the Post-N-Barrier System eliminates “spacing” concerns and permits for a wide range of applications, including curves and corners. Barrier overlap is conveniently secured using a CombiStrap Connector.

This system uses precast sockets, clamps or anchored components for base attachments. Once the bases are installed, the post and barrier units can be connected without having to access the edge for greater safety. Individual barriers can be opened like gates by simply removing the CombiStrap Connector providing edge access or a loading entry. The barriers can then be closed and secured safely inside the protection of the barrier system.

Compact/durable design

The Miller EPIC Basic Barrier System post and lumber design protects those working at the edge of horizontal or low-sloping surfaces. This System provides the required level of containment, while allowing workers to easily reach through without removing the barrier. Suitable for a wide range of applications, it is durable, strong and easy to install.

The Basic System uses precast sockets, clamps or anchored components for base attachments. Once the bases are installed, the posts are locked into the bases and lumber is inserted through the post slots and nailed into place.

Continuous edge protection along staircases

Temporarily protecting workers from the edges of stairways during construction has been complicated and expensive. The varied nature of the stairs, landings and returns often require many cuts that result in sharp ends and other potential hazards. The Miller EPIC Stair Barrier System has been designed to address these issues, offering a systemized solution that can stand alone or be integrated seamlessly with other Miller EPIC Barrier Systems.

The Miller EPIC Stair Barrier System provides continuous edge protection along staircases. It is supported with adjustable posts that can be designed for any angle, suitable for temporary or permanent stairways. The System can also be raised to allow access to work on the outside edge of the stair unit.
